We source local, fair-trade, organic, raw and wild harvested ingredients. We choose to utilize raw and wild-harvested ingredients, if possible, due to the mana (energy) that they posses and transfer over. As our kupuna (ancestors) believed, the mana (energy) that you put in, is reflected in the out come.
Organic Sweet Almond Oil: Full of vitamin E, vitamin A, monosaturated fatty acids, protein, potassium, and zinc. Vitamin E, keeps your skin cells healthy, protects your skin from UV radiation damage, and helps your skin look smooth, soft, and free of fine lines. The fatty acids help your skin retain moisture and can heal chapped and irritated skin. It is a light oil and is non-comedogenic for most skin types.
Wild-harvested Unrefined Buriti Fruit Oil: The pulp of the Buriti fruit, from which the oil is extracted, is extraordinarily rich in Vitamin A, a naturally occurring SPF factor. The oil is also exceptionally rich in essential fatty acids and carotenoids. The natives spread Buriti Oil over the whole body when they need to spend hours under the sun, and several studies have proven that Buriti oil provides natural sun protection.The rich unsaturated fatty acids in Buriti Oil restore moisture-depleted sun-exposed skin, helping help to rebuild and renew skin tissue and moisturize and re-hydrate skin cells.
Organic Comfrey Leaf: Many of the beneficial properties of comfrey are attributed to its high content of allantoin, a substance that, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center, helps promote new skin cell growth, along with other substances that may work in reducing inflammation and maintaining healthy skin. Comfrey can help you naturally address wound healing and skin issues, such as scratches, rash (including diaper rash), bug bites and shallow wounds. It is also deemed helpful as a massage salve easing pain from arthritis, muscle aches, low back pain and soreness.
Organic Coconut Oil (Niu - Native to Hawaiʻi): Helps to moisturize and soothe the skin. It naturally contains anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. It contains Vitamin E, essential amino acids, and lauric and caprylic acid which form part of the barrier function of your skin and help maintain your skin's natural flora aka the good stuff. Organic Copaiba Essential Oil (Kid-Safe): Copaiba Oleoresin is an incredibly smooth and gentle oleoresin, which does less damage to the trees, and contains more therapeutic compounds than the distilled oil. It can be used for easing achy joints and sore muscles associated with normal aging or wear and tear. The warming capabilities make it a wonderful to support respiratory health and relieving occasional digestive upset.
Organic Kamani Oil (Native to Hawaiʻi): Natures sacred gift, contains essential fatty acids, is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and has skin regenerative properties. The two main components are a fatty acid called Calophyllic Acid and a lactone with antibiotic properties believed to be responsible for the oil's amazing ability to rebuild the skin. It absorbs rapidly into the skin, adding a youthful glow without any residual oiliness. Due to its high phospholipids and glycolipids content, and its antioxidant properties it is great at restoring skin health in sun damaged and aging skin.
Wild-harvested Unrefined Kokum Butter: Is native to India, we use unrefined Kokum butter to preserve its mana (energy) and healing properties. Traditionally, raw Kokum Butter has been used in India to soften and nourish the skin, softening lines and wrinkles by restoring elasticity and improving the ability of the skin to retain moisture. It's rich in essential fatty acids, antioxidant vitamin E and has a uniform triglyceride composition and promotes regeneration of skin.
Wild-harvested Kukui Nut Oil (Native to Hawaiʻi): Kukui is considered to be a well-balanced oil good for both dry and oily skin. It is loaded with Oleic acid and Linoleic acids, both of which have high levels of fatty acids. It is also naturally full of vitamins A, C and E, antioxidants that are known to protect your skin from environmental effects and prevent free-radical damage to skin cells. It’s the 25%-30% oleic acid, so close to the makeup of your own sebum (oil), is known to reduce inflammation, and helps to regenerate your skin. Almost equally balanced at 35%-45% is Linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid. Our bodies do not produce this essential fatty acid so we must get it from outside sources. Organic Lemongrass Essential Oil: Great for uplifting the spirit. It can also help boost circulation, bringing warmth to overused muscles and joints.
Organic Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil (Kid-Safe): Calming to the spirit and can also alter a person’s perception of physical pain. It’s a wonderful air freshener, and can help support a healthy respiratory system. It also makes for an excellent repellent to bugs.
Mamaki Leaf (Native to Hawaiʻi): A super antioxidant, including specific types of antioxidants known as catechins, which is a powerful weapon against cancer. The catechin content can produce a clean energy boost, enough to help improve focus. It may also help to decrease irritability and is said to be particularly useful in controlling stress and regulating mood. We use organic unrefined Mango butter to preserve its mana (energy) and nutritional properties making it beneficial at moisturizing and and nourishing the skin. Mango Butter is rich in essential fatty acids, especially Oleic, Omega-9 and Stearic, and Glycerides. It also contains vitamin A and C. Oleic acid and Omega-9 is natural produced in our bodies and is known to reduce inflammation, and helps to regenerate your skin. It also helps to maintain skin elasticity. Unrefined Wild-Harvested Mowrah Butter: Rich in essential fatty acids (oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, and linoleic acid) and Vitamin E. Non-GMO Green Papaya Fruit: The green fruit has a higher amount of potassium than ripe papayas. It contains a higher concentration of papain, a protein-digesting enzyme, than the ripe fruit. Organic Petitgrain Essential Oil (Kid-Safe): During times of great emotional upheaval, Petitgrain is a go to choice to help balance emotions. A favorite for skin care, as it is gentle, yet effective to help with blemishes and oily skin. This oil has a woodsy, fresh scent with a hint of floral.
Pōpolo Leaf (Native to Hawaiʻi): An important medicinal plant reported to treat respiratory problems and also for sore muscles, tendons, and joints. It is also known to have anti-bacterial and anti-fungal property. It was a critical ingredient in many medicinal recipes for ancient Hawaiians. They would utilize the entire plant from leaves, sap, roots, berries and flowers.
ʻŌlena (Turmeric - Native to Hawaiʻi): Helps to calm and restore the skins glow. Turnermic gets its primary benefits come from curcumin, a bioactive component. Curcumin has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It also contains anti-bacterial properties which have been proven to help with acne. Organic Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil (Kid-Safe): It eases the mind, releases nervous tension and helps the whole body relax. Ylang Ylang is also used to help retain moisture in the skin and hair.

Glycerin attracts moisture onto your skin which is why it is considered a humectant. Glycerin is an emollient, making skin not only oist, but soft and supple to the touch. It is also able to guide cells to grow and mature more effectively, thus helping the skin heal. Our glycerin in derived from non-GMO mustard seed, corn, and or soybean, making this a "rain forest safe" product.
